Rear Admiral Roy Nash served as an Officer in the United States Coast Guard for 34 years, promoted to the rank of second star Admiral in 2010.
He protected U.S. Ports and mariners at sea though advancement of maritime safety standards, search and rescue operations, and environmental stewardship.
In 2010, Nash lef 47,000 first responders conducting oil spill removal operations pursuant to the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Rear Admiral Roy Nash received numerous service medals over his career, including the Legion of Merit (4), and the distinguished Service Medal.
