Samantha East served in the United States Air Force for 23 years logging over 8,000 flight hours as a C-130 and E-3 Navigator.
As a senior member of the 109th Airlift Wing (109AW), at Stratton ANGB in Schenectady, she specialized in flight operations on the Greenland and Antarctic frontiers.
Instrumental in the enforcement of the post Gulf War Iraqi No-Fly zones, flew active combat missions in the mid-East, and humanitarian relief missions serving survivors of Hurricanes Katarina in New Orleans and Sandy in New York City.
Equipped with a nuclear engineering degree and aviation experience she served with and fortified the Pacific Command, Joint Innovation and Experimentation Directorate. As an instructor and mentor she has paved the way and inspires the next generation of accomplished professionals and aviators. Also an experienced athlete, she ran the 2016 NYC Marathon supporting the charity Run 4 Veterans.
